Self-Drive Policies
These terms apply to self-drive car rental in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, where you rent a car without a driver and take responsibility for it during the rental period. Review the requirements before booking.
1. How to Book / Booking Procedure
Book by phone, WhatsApp or the online enquiry/booking form. Provide your preferred vehicle, rental dates, pickup location and required service details. Every booking is subject to vehicle availability, verification and approval.
2. Payment & Advance Payment
Full rental payment must be made in advance for self-drive bookings.

3. Required Documents
- Pakistani nationals: Original valid CNIC and a valid current driving licence in the customer's own name.
- Foreign nationals: Valid passport, valid visa or visa stamp permitting their stay in Pakistan, and a valid driving licence.
4. Security Deposit & Security Requirements
- A refundable security deposit is required. The amount depends on the vehicle category and is confirmed at booking.
- The deposit is refunded after the vehicle is returned and inspected, subject to settlement of outstanding charges or liabilities.
- A security cheque equivalent to the value of the rented vehicle is required.
- Pakistani local customers must provide a guarantor who is a business owner or government employee serving at BPS-16 or above.
5. Rental Duration
A daily rental generally covers 10 to 12 hours. Weekly and monthly rental options are available.
6. Mileage / Usage
There is no mileage limit on self-drive rentals. Customers must inform Huzaifa Enterprises about the areas they plan to travel to when booking so the vehicle and travel plan can be confirmed as suitable.
7. Fuel Policy
Vehicles are handed over with a full fuel tank and must be returned with a full tank. This does not apply to out-of-city drop-offs where the vehicle is not returned to our office.
8. Pickup & Delivery
- Islamabad self-drive delivery: Free
- Rawalpindi self-drive delivery: Rs. 1,000
9. Vehicle Return & Condition
Return the vehicle on the agreed date and time and in the same condition in which it was received, subject to normal wear and tear. Damage, missing items or other issues identified at return may be charged under the applicable rental agreement.
10. Accident, Damage & Responsibility
- The customer is responsible for the vehicle throughout the self-drive rental period.
- In case of any minor or major accident, collision, damage, or loss during a self-drive rental, the customer who booked and is using the vehicle is responsible for the vehicle and resulting damage, subject to the rental agreement.
- The customer is responsible for applicable costs associated with repairing damage caused during the rental period, according to the applicable rental agreement.
- If the vehicle becomes unavailable because of an accident or damage caused during the customer's rental period, the customer is also responsible for the agreed rental charges for the period during which the vehicle remains unavailable or is in the workshop for repairs, subject to the applicable rental agreement.
- Report any accident, breakdown, damage, theft or significant incident immediately and cooperate with Huzaifa Enterprises and relevant authorities.
11. Fuel, Tolls, Parking, Fines & Other Charges
For normal self-drive bookings, the customer is responsible for fuel, tolls, parking, traffic fines, e-challans, parking fines and other applicable charges.
12. Traffic Violations & E-Challans
- The customer is fully responsible for any traffic fine, traffic violation, e-challan, parking fine, or other penalty incurred during the self-drive rental period.
- Any e-challan or traffic violation issued while the vehicle is being used by the customer must be paid by the customer.
- This applies whether the violation is detected through a traffic camera, e-challan system, traffic police, parking authority, or another relevant authority.
- Huzaifa Enterprises may provide the customer with the relevant details of the fine or e-challan where available.
13. Late Return
For daily bookings, a late return is charged per extra hour. If the vehicle is returned more than 6 hours late, a full extra day is charged; if it's less than 6 hours late, an hourly or half-day charge applies instead. For weekly and monthly bookings, a late return is charged per extra day.
14. Out-of-City Travel
Customers are welcome to travel anywhere outside the city on a self-drive booking. Please tell us which areas you plan to visit at the time of booking so we can prepare accordingly.
15. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation 24 hours or more before scheduled pickup: 100% refund. Cancellation less than 24 hours before booking starts: 50% deduction. No-show: no refund. Last-minute cancellation: no refund.
16. Return of Documents & Security
Documents and security instruments are returned after safe vehicle return and settlement of outstanding charges or liabilities, subject to the rental agreement. Self-drive rentals remain subject to verification and approval, and additional documentation may be requested where reasonably required.
